ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Aaron Yates. In the photo above is me and my wife Lupita. I wanted to tell you a little about me. We recenlty got married in November 2008. I have a 14 year old daughter and a baby on the way. I have a passion or rather OBSESSION with Ford Mustangs. I love everything about them. I have had this passion since I was 12 or 13 years old. I am now 30 something.. ha ha! In May of 2008 I was looking into home based businesses and ways to earn extra income. I am a Robot Programmer in the auto industry. I enjoy using my computer. I use it for work, internet surfing, paying bills, and many other things. I researched many home business ideas. One that really kept popping out at me was affiliate marketing. I had no idea what it was. So I did some research on it. In short, it’s a way to make money from your website. Companies pay you to advertise. This caught my attention. I have tried before to build a website about Ford Mustangs but it failed failed failed!!! With a capital F! So I knew I would need some help in this area. I didn’t and still don’t know HTML editing. I had tried yahoo sitebuilder before and almost went back to using it. But while researching web hosting companies I stumbled across SBI. So I researched it and read a lot over the period of 3 days. I found some sites that charged more and some that charged less. But for the tools I needed to create a new website SBI had everything I needed and things I didn’t even know what they were before. At this point I was getting very excited. I knew I wanted to build a site about Ford Mustangs again. I wanted to make it a generalized website. After purchasing SBI and using the tools they offered I realized that I would have too much competition. So I utilized everything they offered to narrow my site down to what you can see today on www.Ford-Mustang-Hype.com . It walked me through step-by-step. Many times I wanted to jump ahead but I’m glad I didn’t. They praise the tortoise strategy. I’ve spoken with people who didn’t follow the SBI format and their website showed it. A little more about me.. I work full time so I don’t have much time to put into my site. My ultimate goal is to have it to share my love of Mustangs with other people and to have a supplement income in the future. Now don’t misunderstand me, it’s NOT A GET RICH QUICK scheme. It will take time to start earning money. I’ve made money with google, and performance parts companies paying me to advertise for them. I also get over 2000 unique visitors a month. And this is all due to following the SBI guide EXACTLY to the ‘T’. In the past year I’ve been building my online business I have met some really cool people and seen some very cool things. A few of my most memorable was the Roush Facility Tour I went on, meeting Chip Foose and Chris Jacobs from Overhaulin, and meeting Jack Roush himself at the unveiling of the 2010 Roush Mustang. These are things I never would have accomplished without my business.
